# /jplatpat/patents/search

> Search Japanese patents and utility models on J-PlatPat (INPIT / JPO) by free-text keyword. Returns matching records with title, applicants/right holders, application/publication/registration numbers, dates, FI classifications and internal document id.

**Price:** 20 credits

**⚠️ Common errors:** 422: Keyword matched too many results to return — use a more specific keyword
