# /handelsblatt/articles

> Get one Handelsblatt article by its URL or numeric id: headline, kicker, lead, body text, publication and update times, authors with their profile pages, section breadcrumb, topics, lead and in-body images with caption and photo credit, pull quotes, embedded media, related articles, the running posts of a live blog and, on podcast pages, the episode audio. Handelsblatt gates most of its journalism: for subscriber-only and metered articles the body is the free opening extract and is_truncated says so.

**⚠️ Common errors:** 412: No Handelsblatt article with this id, or the id resolves to something that is not an article, 422: Not a Handelsblatt article URL or numeric id
